Acknowledgement

We recognise that all people are both victims and beneficiaries of the ingenuity and shortcomings of human endeavour, and of the constantly evolving productive and destructive engagement with the environments upon which we rely and in which we inhabit. We understand that our effort to make the world a better place through the practice of architecture is only possible because of the privilege we were handed, the knowledge inherited from our peers and elders, and the wealth at our disposal as a result of the historical and ongoing extraction of resources and the displacement of peoples. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong (Boon Wurrung) peoples of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land from which we conduct our practice, and recognise their part in the lineage of the oldest known continuous society of human culture and knowledge.
