This dynamic architecture of the covered walkway and the new administration building will provide a clear sense of address to the administrative heart of the campus.

The new three level building at Equine Park comprises a covered entry, reception, admissions, transport office, admin office, storage and accounts at ground level. A grand stair to the north of reception, and a lift to the rear, connects all levels vertically.

The first level consists entirely of Key Stage Leader offices and meeting rooms. The stair continues up to the second level which comprises the office of the principal, the director of schools and the three assistant principles.

These are supported by a second level general reception area, secretarial and executive assistant desks and a war room overlooking the main courtyard to the east.

The building’s facade has been conceived as a patterned precast concrete panel system which leans and straightens giving the building dynamic attitude at key moments. The windows, which will be shaded against the sun, are indicated as shapely such that they may be integrated into the facades pattern.

This project reached practical completion in November 2014 and is now enthusiastically occupied by staff and students alike.
