A Mixed used development in Shah Alam, Malaysia, layered with cultural motifs that defined an architectural language, key to driving the project and development branding.

The ground level network of lanes with island tenancies allowed for the program to be interspersed loosely across the site with vertical movement between podium and landscape, unobstructed movement between private and public areas and social inter-weaving between visitation and ownership. The use of this motif as an architectural tool allowed us to weave and integrate the brief into the site. The result; A series of buildings interwoven via undercrofts, sky bridges and landscaping links to the adjacent lake, embedding itself within the site as an iconic building.

The development is comprised of serviced luxury apartments, with 1000 Square metres allocated for office space. The podium and ground levels will cater for commercial use while varying widths of paths, roads, promenades and plazas topped with thick vegetation, form forest-like urban conditions, that cater for pavilions and open air areas for market stalls, bathing, children’s play, rollerblading, cycling and general leisure.
